Yeah... they're skipping a lot of the small details and making changes that are better for TV. It'll really be interesting to see how they handle Books 4 & 5 since both those books get bogged down in the minutiae. George better get busy on Book 6 (Winds of Winter). He only has 2 or 3 seasons to get it done, until the TV producers push forward without him. He's given them the general framework of how the rest of the story line in the books go and I'd hate to see them push on without him and potentially reach the conclusion a different way than George intends.

No idea what Tapatalk is Upto..
I did read somewhere George has told the producers how it ends and major plot twists in case he dies before it ends. But also he's the kind of guy who would want to have all fans guessing (less smug readers trying to spoil the plot twists), Sometimes it works too; look at Dexter - the books are completely different to the show. Now I realize GOT books and show will be close due to George being o set to help craft the world.
