I just came back from there for a work-related conference.

Bridging a conference over the weekend was bullshit, but the downtown area I was in was nice for such a huge city. Good attractions all within walking distance and I never felt unsafe, even going solo. Too posh for my tastes, but it was a nice break from our 100 degree weather here in Texas.

I do have to agree about the traffic, though. Our shuttle driver from the airport to the hotel used the on and off ramps to jump a few spaces ahead in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Crazy.

The next time I go, I'm sleeping on enf's couch.

So I finally figured out the best thing about Chicago...getting to leave.

Will be heading out Saturday. Not sure if I am going home, or going to work somewhere else, so who knows, I may crap on your town next.

Seattle, now thats where it's at! They decided cobblestone streets were a good idea.... F(&#ing hate em! I drive a car setup for the race track and literally it feels like you're going to be rattled apart on them things... Come shit on my cobblestone streets please

Other than that Seattle is probably pretty close to Chicago attraction wise.

But, but...nevermind it's not worth. Traffic sucks, but for most people that live here, the smart thing to do is either live downtown or live in the suburbs and take the train in. Takes 30 minutes for the train ride compared to over an hour driving your car. Love this city. Best city in the world imo.

Home sweet home. Left Chocagoland at 11am, home at 1:30am. Only 1 thing will ever get me back, a cubs game at wrigley.

Haha yea but not to watch the actual game. Cubs suck, but the atmosphere is amazing.

Come to jersey, Well give u a big warm welcome....And then after about 15min well change lanes without turn signals, Speed and ride your ass till you move the fuck out of our way, and honk are horns when u do absolutely nothing wrong except get on our nerves because you dont drive like us. =)

Don't forget that you can't pump your own gas (it's DANGEROUS!!) and you can't handle making left turns so they give you ramps to the right.
