People over use a particular word or phrase
I hate one word that seems like it is used over and over and over these days. The word is EPIC. Watched a show the other night and in the promos twice they used the damn word EPIC. "The most epic show.." Epic this and epic fucking that. Epic, epic, epic.
Its used in movie promos, it is on tv, it is on the radio, and it is here in these threads. You want to know how many threads mention epic? 214. It is not 214 times the word is used, but 214 threads that has at least one mention of the word. Hell, in this thread, I even said the over used word nine times. Do a basic google search and the word is mentioned 343,000,000 times.
If you feel the need to say "that is epic", try something else. Hell, you can say: bigger than life, bold, classic, gritty, gutsy, gallant, grand, grandiose..and so on.
My apologies for the rant. I shall now get in a nice calming game of bf2.
Primer
Edit: I just realized there is a damn phone called Epic on Sprint.Last edited by badprimer1; 06-26-11 at 11:20 PM.
