You have to get control of your diabetes, or quite simply, your life will be cut short. Your high blood glucose can lead to irreversible nerve damage if it goes uncontrolled for too long. Typically, peripheral neuropathy is something that happens to OLD people with diabetes, but if you are not controlling it, you can also get it when you are younger.
I am currently dealing with neurological shit right now, and I know it isn't fun. The bottom line is, if you don't try to remedy the situation, you could end up losing a limb, and even your life. Don't screw around and start to take care of yourself!
