Re: Avatar Help
Here's the instructions to do this yourself and the end result:
1: Save the gif to your computer and open Photoshop.
2: Go to File>>Import. From Import, a submenu will open. Choose "Video Frames to Layers." A pop-up window will open.
3:In the pop-up window look for the image you have saved on your hard drive. If you don't see the file, click in the "File Name" box. Type "*" and then press Enter. You should see all of the files now. If not, click in the "File Name" box again and type in the exact name of your GIF file.
4:Click Load. Your GIF file will open. Make certain that your "Layers" window is displayed. You will see each of the layers that make up your animated GIF graphic. Edit each layer as necessary or simply choose Image>>Image Size and edit the image to 150px wide.
5:Save your file. Choose "File" and then "Save for Web & Devices." Under "Presets," choose "GIF 128 Dithered." From this window, you can preview your animation. In the lower right corner, press the "Play" icon. Click "Save." Rename the file and then press "Save" again.
Hope that helps
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
