On July 11, the convenience store chain 7-Eleven plans to give away 5 million free Slurpees to customers. In the spirit of the date and the store’s name, each free drink will come in a 7.11-oz. cup, and 7-Eleven plans to give out 5 million in the US and Canada.

I went to 7-11 today and got some, Drove to 3 others and they were sold out...How lame i only made out with 1 sample =(

I got one at the 7-11 down the street. I was amazed they still had a shitload of cups, apparently people around here (here as in the neighborhood not TPG) don't check teh interwebz =P

Huge power outage in the Chicagoland area due to storms prevented me from getting my free slurrpee. Would have been a nice surprise. Was going to 7/11 to get something else and the Asian clerk screams, "No power, no slurrpee!" No joke, didn't think it was that funny until I just thought of it. lol
