Crap Customer Service
Alright so I have a little rant here about my credit card.
So I had about 13k points on my credit card that I wanted to use for something. I went to the redemption website and was looking at various items (opening a new tab for each item). I looked at a few cameras which were obviously crap, and then I found a duracell car starter thing and considering that my car is 21 and I tend to leave the headlights on every once in a while, the battery needs the occasional jump. So I go and add the item to cart (this was the only tab left open) and check out. For some reason on certain websites using tabs can make the thing go all cattywampus and instead of adding the Duracell thing to my cart it added one of the shitty cameras. After finalizing the order I realized what had happened and IMMEDIATELY called support to cancel it because no option existed on the website. After getting disconnected by the operator computer thing because my call was not processed properly or some shit I finally get in touch with a person. He then tells me that he has no ability to cancel an order from 6 minutes ago and that I have to wait for the POS to arrive, then call and get all the return info that I need and ship the thing back.
I know it's part my fault, but WTF how can they not cancel the shit. "Sorry for some reason online orders process differently and I can't cancel it, but I see that you have had our card since 2007 and we thank you for that!"
Awesome, new card (with decent rewards) here I come!

Re: Crap Customer Service
take a look at the verizon smart phones thread where i slightly go into detail about my issue when getting my new phone.
apparently the first response was that there is only 1 person in the whole verizon company that could activate my phone, and that person had left for the day.
that 1 person being the person who made the sale a few days prior.
