Nexus S ? The new Android phone from Google

there has to be some sorta catch besides a 2 year renew and a data plan ?

The catch is you pay them like $1500-2000 over the course of 2 years (assuming you want to use the phone to its full potential). The cost of the phone is small compared to that.

I got the Nexus S 4G a couple weeks ago and paid around $150 for it I think... no regrets at all! Totally worth it, blows my last phone out of the water.

Also to some, the NS might start looking less attractive with all the dual core phone coming out (hence the price cut)... but I still value the pure Google experience over the dual-core phones with bloated UI's stuck on top.

HTC G2/Vision FTW. Love my G2. Running CM7 it's hella smooth and overclocks real easy to 1.8.

That or get the G2x, I believe it is the only dual-core phone that can run CM7, plus it doesn't have Sense UI (what a terrible idea to put that on the Sensation, makes it lag like a mofo) or any UI that'll make it lag too bad.
