Re: $1500 in books
People who buy college textbooks through the bookstore are insane. Medical books are the exception to the rule almost, because they release a new print every year it seems, but you might be able to find some on Half.com: Textbooks , Books , Music , Movies , Games , Video Games. If you do end up buying from the bookstore, I find it's best to try and sign up for any promotionals they have going, seeing as you just spent 1.5 grand on books...

Re: $1500 in books
Bunni, you go to UNCC right? If I remember correctly else my memory is just going to shit lately. But when I was there I never bought books at the bookstore nor at the Grey's bookstore across the campus. I usually bought my books either from amazon or from barnes and noble and had their credit card so I saved at least 10% of each book or so.
***Edit
just wanted to add for some reason I remember that for barnes and noble they give you a discount when you are a member and you order online.Last edited by Master_Magus; 08-16-11 at 11:57 AM.
