Looks like Irene is going to trash my plans to drive to Philly and bar crawl saturday night. Mega ultra lame. Looks like I am going to have to lock myself in my apt with a case of beer, play CSS, BF2 and L4D2 and just hope my power/interwebtubes don't get knocked out.

We should do this more often when im 21 next year...(the bar crawling in philly part, not locking ourselves in a basement....)

Man I remember being stupid and driving down to visit my sister in Tuscaloosa for a hurricane roof party. Although I think it was a tropical storm by the time it reached, we watched like 7 trees go down and the streets flood. I think the best part was that there were no scary bike cops riding around writing citations....

though the trees here cant handle wind for squat diddly so i wouldnt be surprised if the power went out.

They have enough trouble handling snow here and that happens on a regular basis.

I am just annoyed that this storm is cutting into my boozing. I work hard all fucking week...all this guy wants to do is knock back some drinks while talking to some Philly bar ladies.

hurricane partys are the best kind imo.

its like a neverending party, and if you leave early youll probably die. so you party, eat, sleep, wake up, party some more.

When I was at school in Tallahassee, FL we would get crazy discounts on Budweiser beer because of the hurricanes. We had a major distributor right near us and whenever a huricane caused the distribution to cut off it resulted huge amounts of very very cheap beer.
