Thread: my hotel internet sucks...

I have been DLing Civ 5 for the last 16 hours, and I am not even 50% done. I think I have been averaging about 20KB/s. This is so lame.

Alright, now think of how much money you're making while staying at said hotel. Now, don't you feel better?

Welcome to my internet all the time. Not that bad but 60-70KB/s is my usual, unless the wind is blowing the data downhill and I get that momentary peak over 100...

Cash isn't everything, but it sure makes life a lot easier.

Going on 27 or 28 hours, and 67% of the way done. Should be playing by tomorrow night.

At which point you will be called to go somewhere... and won't be able to play anyway.

I already got a call to go to whackamole, PA or some shit like that for Irene and told them I would be there as soon as I shit some rainbows. I SHOULD be here for at least another couple weeks, and mostly caught up, so should be able to play a little every now and then.

Grrr, got so bad that I couldn't even send/receive the shit I need for work, so I had to go leech free WiFi at McDonald's. Get here, and find great internet at Super 8. DLing Civ 5 at over 300KB/s. Bonus!!!

At least the motel had internet in the room, instead of having to go to the damn lobby (err lobby, 2nd or 3rd floors) to leech internet.
