All-Inclusive Suggestions
Well its time to book the honeymoon... Looking to travel in mid November of this year for a 6 nite stay preferably in Jamaica.
Im looking for an all-inclusive resort for two that focused more on service and good food options rather than extra curricular activities (we dont golf or hike or anything but wouldnt mind trying snorkeling or paddle boats or something simple). Looking to stay around the $3000 range...
So any suggestions of places youve been or sites youve used to book a trip like this? So far All Inclusive Vacations, Resorts, and Packages | Cheap Caribbean has been a go-to site for research but they have limitations on actually getting a discount.
Thanks for any help in advance!

Re: All-Inclusive Suggestions
The Mrs. and I went to Mexico for our honeymoon in April. Cabo is nice and relatively quiet and just gorgeous. We picked a more inexpensive resort ($1600 for flight plus hotel for 2 people 6 days) and it was amazing! Great food and snacks throughout the night (2AM nachos anyone?) all you can drink and lots of fun events. We're actually considering going back again this spring since it's so cheap and great.
I booked the resort and flight on the resort's website. They had a package deal for booking the flight through them.
You can always book the snorkeling and such separately while you are there. No need to pay a resort for stuff you might not even do.
Make sure you tip the waiters/bartenders even if the resort says tips are included. You'll get better service.
Congratulations by the way!Last edited by QuickLightning; 08-30-11 at 05:28 PM.

I've been to Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Cozumel, Nasai Bahamas, another Bahama island I cant remember, and Key west. I liked grand cayman the best, next to cozumel. I stayed at a resort in Jamaica and did not like it that much, the beach had lots of seaweed in it, but that could be just there. Jamaicas more down to earth. Less commercial. Atlantis in Bahamas is just amazing.also congrats!

Hire Mr. White to sail you around the Great Lakes. I know know all of the great spots to hit up, places you'll never find tourists. Given the right type of yacht and I can even teach you how to boon skip.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Re: All-Inclusive Suggestions
I have been on plenty of cruises and visited a lot of ports in the Caribbean and Mexico, so Im no stranger to the area per se. A vast majority of the time will be spent hanging out at the resort just relaxing, so the quality of the resort is more important that the surrounding area really.
My favorite port by far was Cozumel though. Always loved stopping over there. Would rather stay away from that area for an all-inclusive though. I know I said Jamaica in my initial post, but am definitely up for other suggestions such as Punta Cana and Cabo San Lucas. ;-)
