    Powers out

Had a really good storm last night in Waco. Unfortunately, at about 11:30 last night, I saw a huge lightning strike out my window land quite nearby and the power went out not even a split second later. And the power has been out since.

Just got home to find that out, fortunately, my laptops battery is fully charged and the park manager has the the wireless back up with internet connection, but no power for the rest of the park unfortunately. This makes me sad.

Eh, catch up on some reading I guess.

Sucks! At least it brings you closer to the people you live with lol Its nice to take a break from all the daily electronic stuff once and while. Nothing to really bug you as much. But too much is not a good thing. Lost power for 5 days during the summer of last year. Had to go get a generator after that!

    Re: Powers out

I'm living in my RV by myself for school right now :P

Turned out something burned a hole in my wiring, we suspect something by faulty in the RV wiring itself, so I am gonna have that checked out.

We just cut off the plug (which half of it melted) and put the copper contacts directly into the wiring, so it is a more direct connection, and not have to replace the entire wire going from the RV to the power grid.

ah so its your RV not the power grid. Does that mean you fixed it then and you have power?

Yup, just gotta find what the hell is causing the problem. Good thing I have a new water heater coming up here in a week or so with my electrician of a cousin who can see if he can find and fix the problem.
