Yes, you would be looking for n-key rollover feature for multiple key presses.

If you are looking for an old apple style keyboard, check out Matias Tactile Pro. They use the same Alps switches as the old ones, IIRC.

And 125 bucks for a good keyboard is average price, IMO. The expensive ones start at 175 or so. My current favorite for work is the Happy Hacker Professional 2. Worth every penny for me.

Yup, that's the biggest issue I have with my laptop, can't Shift + W and try to talk. It blows.
