Yeah I have to deal with it for bioshock and Batman. Not too big of a deal.

I dealt with it for the retail version of Bulletstorm, only wanting to play the sp (I could give two shits about the mp). BioShock 1 and 2 and others don't require signing in for sp.

Why do they require this? Dunno, tbh. Add me to the lynch mob.

Yeah, MOST of the time it isnt a big deal.

I have about ten games for windows live total, and I've seen it act up in two of them.

I've never had any issues with GFWL, I've used it extensively for Street Fighter 4, Fable III, and Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition. Piece of cake to invite other players to your game, accept game invites, send messages, chat with friends etc.

If you want my honest opinion, it's a hell of a lot nicer than Xbox live or the PSN. Try sending someone a message in SF4 while playing on PS3 . . . 18 screens later and trying to navigate around the freaking home screen you might finally find the right place to send a message, it's a royal pain in the ass.

And it's not like GFWL is any more invasive than Steam while actually playing the game, press the home button to bring up the menu and that's all it will ever do.
    I miss you guys....-tczyl2-png

So I can't sign in online in any of my GFWL games, and that means no multi for me, it says in the network stuff that I don't have a internet IP adress or something like that, so now when I start SP games like Batman I have to wait 5 minutes for GFWL to attempt to log in, fail, retry, fail then finally sign in as offline, and I can't do anything while this is happening.

I hate this program that doesn't let me play my games offline, seems to keep trying to put its name on games, etc etc.

...oh wait we are talking about GFWL, not Steam. My bad.

I haven't had any issues with GFWL, sometimes it was a bit slow on my old computer but otherwise it was fine. The only program I've really had trouble with was fucking Rockstar's one. That one was annoying as hell, even though it worked eh okay enough.

You can play single player games in steam offline. Just go to offline mode. When it comes to GFWL, you HAVE to sign in to play. You HAVE to have internet connection to play any games, which is just stupid.

Couple years back I didn't have internet at home, and I had to pray that steam wouldn't force close, freeze, etc. etc. anytime I left school because there was no way of getting on offline mode without having internet to log in and THEN going to offline mode (and yes I had it set to auto-sign in, keep password/user name, etc.)
