    I don't have any videos of me playing the drums as I am not that great of a drummer. I am decent, but I am a guitarist at heart and play a real instrument. Anyways, here is my kit... Gretsch Catalina Maple 7 piece.

    Nice kit heavyG my buddy at guitar center just tried selling me one of those, but i love the sound of birch wood to much. Mines a PDP F5 series all birch wood natural to charcoal fade...Ull see it soon when i get a good video up in the daylight haha and NOT with blue glowy sticks.

    Yea, different strokes for different folks. I prefer maple as I think they sound better for classic rock. I like the warm sound they give.

    as much as i agree with this, i still play classic rock on my birch and i just love the sound it gives me, However maple def has some strong tones for classic rock thats for sure, Ill be honest i can only get so much out of my birch.
