UFC on Fox - Cain Velasquez vs. Junior Dos Santos, this Saturday at 9 PM!
UFC's first broadcast on FOX is its first broadcast on any major network. They are serving up one of the best fights they could... Cain Velasquez is the heavyweight champion who beat Brock Lesnar. Junior Dos Santos is the #2 ranked Heavyweight in the world. Both are entertaining, highly skilled fighters.
At 9 PM EST, FOX is showing an hour long UFC show that will have some buildup and then the Cain vs. JDS fight. Normally you'd have to pay to see it, but this Saturday it's free! Preliminary fights are on facebook, and Clay Guida vs. Ben Henderson is a battle of the 2 best contenders for the lightweight crown and has a lot of people excited. I think you just have to "Like" UFC on facebook and you can watch the stream. That'd be before 9 PM so get have that stuff set up by 8 PM or earlier. So basically there are a lot of great, free fights on this Saturday.
Manny Pacquaio fights at 11 PM (Pay Per View) so if you want to see some great fights, go to your favorite sports bar! If you get there around 830 you'll probably get a decent seat, get some food/drinks and watch the 9 PM UFC show, and then you're almost to Pacquaio.

The prelims are actually starting at 6 PM EST! There are some really good fights in there. The 145 and 155 lb fighters especially have guys that are probably going to be fighting for the title in their next few fights after this. Very strong technically and 145/155 lb guys can go almost full blast the whole time so those fights are generally very fast-paced and fun to watch.
Preliminary Card (Facebook and FoxSports.com, 6:00 ET)
155 lbs.: Clay Guida vs. Ben Henderson
145 lbs.: Dustin Poirier vs. Pablo Garza
145 lbs.: Cub Swanson vs. Ricardo Lamas
170 lbs.: DaMarques Johnson vs. Clay Harvison
135 lbs.: Norifumi Yamamoto vs. Darren Uyenoyama
145 lbs.: Mackens Semerzier vs. Robert Peralta
135 lbs.: Alex Caceres vs. Cole Escovedo
185 lbs.: Mike Pierce vs. Paul Bradley
205 lbs.: Aaron Rosa vs. Matt Lucas
Note: The prelims are also free! They're just on the web and not tv. This card could have been sold as a Pay Per View but instead UFC is trying really hard to break into mainstream sports by giving us all something to watch as we wait for boxing's greatest star to step into the ring.Last edited by Toad; 11-08-11 at 11:35 PM.
