Re: 2011-2012 Hunting Season
Well, I went all weekend, Friday, saturday, and sunday.
Friday I saw about 6 different does, but was unable to get a shot on them. My buddy had a doe about 10 feet in front of him, but his scope somehow slid back on his gun, and blocked the hammer from engaging the fireing pin, i rofled....
Saturday was uneventful, but sunday it was raining all day. We stalked around a little bit and saw 2 does running down the hollar....I set up camp around 330 and waited til dark. At around 515, I decided to stand up and leave. As soon as I did, I turned around and there was a buck no 30 yards behind me. Of course I spooked him, and he took off. Didnt even hear the little shit....
Shotgun ends this sunday, so HOPEFULLY i get one soon....

Nice Civil, yeah hate it when that shit happens Kracker. I went on my trip seen nothing. My buddie killed 120lb doe. Five 10 points got shot down. The biggest was 16 inch spread. Bucks are almost ready to chase the doe. Rubs and scrapes every where. This is public land btw. National Forest

Re: 2011-2012 Hunting Season
No deer for me yet. I have not seen one since the step son shot the doe. Weather sucks dick around here. Hunted this afternoon in the rain and wind... Plus all the acorns in the woods, the deer walk 3 feet to eat and lay back down. Need some cold weather to make them move.
