same with here...the weather has been way to damn warm, all through shotgun season. It sucks really....

Starting to see some deer moving about. The weather turned cold. Still a lot of acorns in the woods. Deer don't have to move to far to eat. When you walk through a pine thicket and find acorns it's tuff hunting. LoL

I have always saved the corks from wine bottles. You can burn them a little at the time and apply the ashes as a camo.

I'll have to remember that. I've tried camo paint before for CTF type games (CTF, kick the can, foxes and hounds, etc.); it works great until you build up a sweat and it all comes off ending up as a waste of money. Ah, and this reminds me that I forgot to take a picture of the elk my aunt shot up in Canada....the head is freaking huge along with the prongs!

Cork comes off pretty easy with water or sweat. Not much sweating going on during duck season.
