Thread: My rant on 3D movies

So I went to see Hugo today (which was actually pretty good), and while sitting through the previews, I noticed that practically all of them were remakes of old movies in 3D... Titanic, The Star Wars Saga, Beauty and the Beast, more than I can't remember... We've officially stopped making new movies. Now they just slap on a shitty 3D effect on old movies and want people to pay money to go see them? Bullshit. I don't know why everyone is so hyped up on 3D either, the effect was kinda neat for the first few movies, but it's just getting old. Nobody cares that it looks somewhat like the effect is coming out of the screen... In fact, and I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but the 3D gives me a headache after about an hour of watching.


You know what this is? An anti-piracy thing. Hollywood doesn't want people to bootleg their movies, so they add on the shitty 3D effect so you can't watch it at home. Also they've probably made a good amount off the gimmick. Fuck 3D and fuck you for reading my rant.
