No... in your first post you specifically said T3.....
Also if you do end up getting one of the rebels..... I will be jealous as I REALLY want to use SD cards in my 7D.... but no the 'pros' have to use the expensive outdated compact flash junk...Last edited by rush2049; 12-15-11 at 03:18 PM.

Re: Advice on buying a DSLR?
When I first picked up my nikon a guy who has a fancy camera was talking to me about the ninfy fifty. Whats the main purpose of it? I havnt done much research on apiture but from what iv read the lower the number (1.8 in this case) the wider the lens can open for low light pictures. Does that lens also have good noise reduction? No point in taking a low light fast shutterspeed picture if it looks like shit anyway... Or is noise reduction all body?

Noise reduction is in the 'software' on the processing chip on the camera. The advantage to the nifty fifty is the lower F-stop. If you open it wide open, you can take pictures in low light situations with no flash... It's what's referred to as a prime lens which means there's no zoom. It's a fixed focal length. It's a popular lens for taking portraits. Personally, I use mine for taking pictures of the night sky.

Re: Advice on buying a DSLR?
I live to innercity to get good night pictures, on the occasions im in the middle of nowhere I take the opurtunity, prop it up on a rock (or tripod if I remember to bring it) set it for 30 seconds and walk away.
Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 II DC Lens for Nikon Digital 77D-306
This is my current lens. It works great for daylight situations but as soon as stuff gets moving quick or to dark it cant do much. I have a mountable flash but if its dead on everything gets super washed out and if im outside its hard to provide a little light, no surfaces to bounce it off of. Im thinking of getting a 60D canon camera, if I do il probably get canons version of this lens for situations involving zoom and the 50mm for low light.
