Seminary
Not sure if I've told anyone on TPG that this is what I'm doing with my life, but i guess now you know.
I will start seminary in Houston in January. Film business is great, but I've been lead on another path. Actually quit my film job, but its w/e.
No i'm not quitting TPG or giving up video games, just giving an update and wondering if anyone else has been, or is going to seminary.

Re: Seminary
I love that im the official Baylor fan of TPG, lol
I've really had this passion for youth laid on my heart, just recently I've had my eyes opened to how much I love working with kids and how much I've worked with kids on and off my whole life. So.....to answer your question, I'm hoping to do youth ministry, it can be missions related or not depends on where i feel lead.

You would probably enjoy being a counselor at a Christian camp, too. Pay is horrible, so it's more of a get some experience while it's summer vacation. Very fun though.
I would also recommend, when you figure out where and what your calling is, to maybe take some classes to learn the local language. It'll really help communicating to the kids.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Eh, I don't know. I've taken classes and used Rosetta stone. Rosetta stone isn't too good at explaining things to you like grammar. Having a teacher to explain things to you is nice. Most college classes will also start with immersion even in the 101 classes. Regardless of which method you choose, I recommend reading books, poetry, etc. and watching movies in the language that you're trying to learn. If you want a nice challenge, set the subtitles to the same language as that being spoken; it can be very helpful to see the words you're listening to in the movie. Another good thing to try is to watch a movie you know in English well but with subtitles in the language you're learning (will probably only work for French/Spanish though).
