Re: Which heroes are becoming your go to picks?

In follow up to me previous post, I like the heros that have trickier play styles.

    Example:
Zenyatta manages two different buffs on two different groups; and the default left click fire has a short delay before firing and a slow repeat. Takes splitting your focus. I have not yet mastered the right click attack yet, trying to find a good use for it.

Or Junkrat maintains two different traps, the explosion one being much more useful in various situations. then his left click has a heavy lob / bounce that takes some mental calculations to bounce correctly around the level; I find that shooting what I call 'grounders' (to use a baseball term) at enemies feet is more often useful than aiming for the direct hit before the first bounce.

    Quick examples:
D'va: big and strong with short range attack no reloading; but has flying and blocking move to strategically maneuver to get into effective range. + when out of mech, does HIGH damadge with blaster, but they are slow moving projectiles and you are the weakest character in the game at that point. Basically it's about positioning of yourself, then switches to placement of your shots.

Its characters like these that I enjoy most. Which means I don't play the assault classes at all.

Try Tracer and learn how to stay alive while constantly putting out damage on the enemy's back line. Or Genji who does much of the same, but in a significantly different way. The "staying alive" and "constantly putting out damage" are key for them.

Tracer is actually fairly simple and straightforward...Genji on the other hand, definitely what I consider the trickiest play style to master in the game. He has so many mechanics you need practice with before they all fall into place and you become solid enough to do work

Also Pharah, maybe it's just a personal problem, I cant get comfortable with her vertical strategy...not to mention she's a top pick in competitive play since McCree and Widow were nerfed, so that's a compelling reason to try her out
