Overwatch Competitive Mode PTR

Anyone interested in installing this. It's basically a pre-release patch that allows people to try out the new Competitive Mode.

It really couldn't hurt. It is split up into seasons that are 3-months long. It also gives you a number for your relative skill level (though I wouldn't really say that would be accurate until you have played close to 1,000 games).

Minimum level 25.
Max spread of 50 levels between best and worst...
I've played maybe 6 hours at this point and I'm level 15. Tenrou is level 93 or something...
not too pleased that I can't play with my squad because I'm not grinding out levels at the same speed they are.

I thought the spread wasn't xp level but competitive skill level? They probably did that to prevent the most extreme cases of boosting.

You're correct. Skill level you get after placement matches, not your game level.

So the competitive season is underway. Meltdowns have already occurred. As a certain big assed British chick says "Game On!!!"
