    Well, the fresh install of Windows from USB worked. It appears that this new motherboard of mine simply does not like my Arctosa, though. Still the same behavior when I plug it in.

    Primarily because I don't own Win 7 as this point, haven't bit the bullet on that one yet. Managing to find someone who has a copy might motivate me, though.

    Yeah, they had to be twisted off. I was thinking of putting some electrical tape over them. I'd really rather they be sealed.

    I've taped them closed myself. I prefer black gaffers tape but electrical should work. Put it on the inside and outside and it will hold better than on just one or the other.
