It's a real shame that a lot of the Kindle prices are now more expensive than the hardback for the same book. :/

That article is almost a year old but pricing is still an issue. I recently decided I wanted to read the new Stephen King novel 11-22-63. I went to my barnes n noble store on my nook and about had a heart attack when I saw the price was 17 dollars. The actual hardback is 18 dollars. REALLY!? Bullshit. I'm not paying 17 dollars for an ebook that literally costs pennies to produce. If I'm going to pay that much for it I'm getting the real deal so that I can put it on my bookshelves. However... I don't buy real books any more either unless they are real special or antiquarian pieces to add to my collection.
Publishers are just going to have to realize that in this new world of digital distribution they just aren't going to make as much money per unit as they did before. But they also don't have to pay for publication, binding, shipping, etc.
