GTX285 2GB vs GTX570 - Benchmarks

Twin Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5647 @ 2.93GHz
Operating system - 64-bit Windows 7
Motherboard - Intel 5520 chipset
Memory - 12GB DDR3 @ 1333Mhz
Hard drive - Twin 10k RPM 160GB HDDs
Video Driver - Nvidia Beta 285.79
Video card 1 - EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 2GB
Video card 2 - PNY Nvidia Geforce GTX 570
3D Mark 06:
GTX 285 - 17680
GTX 570 - 18844
3D Mark Vantage
GTX 285 - P13606
GTX 570 - P22028
3D Mark 11
GTX 285 - Can't run, not DX11
GTX 570 - P5645
this was all run today back to back.
Looks like this card is hitting a good score in 3DMark 11 in Performance mode compared to this:

They GTX 570 is a great card and superior to the 285 in every way (except for the vram). This is a nice comparison to see for those looking to upgrade their older 200 series cards.

just thought I'd share my results.
the GTX570 doesn't bump the 3DMark06 up as much as I thought, but being a DX11 card, apparently 3Dmark11 score I got is higher than most other benchmarks for GTX570s (I attribute this to the high level workstation class rig behind the GPU)
Also, seeing 9000 points in 3DMark Vantage was good too
other differences:
I was lucky to see 60fps in BF3 in Medium and low
now in Ultra, I see 60fps (@ 1920x1200)
Either way, I'm happy with the purchase. I sold my GTX285 2GB for $175, bought this for $275... so $100 to upgrade is a good amount.
