    i'm doing it again...

not satisfied with the 60-80 fps on bf3....

time to overclock and overvolt my gtx 590 some more.

I used a modified bios I made a while back and flashed both cores with it. It disables (in a sneaky way) the voltage lock that all the newest drivers have built in. This way I can modify the voltage higher than stock.

Stock volts is 913mV, I put it up to 963mV. (Have been running these volts for some time)

Stock clock is 630MHz, I am currently testing 700MHz. I got a CTD at 730MHz.

    Wish me luck.....

Is your monitor 120hz? If not... Why? If the monitor can only show 60fps (typical) or 75fps... why clock higher?

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

Whether or not you can see it, often you can feel the higher FPS. Game runs smoother, responds better...

Also, it may not matter as much about maximum fps but average and minimum. If those get bumped higher, all the better. Why have a minimum that hits 40 when you can have a minimum at 60 or 70...

I've been thinking about building an immersed PC at some point if I win the lottery
