02-29-12, 01:31 PM #1Game Recording Software
Interested in doing some recordings in games recently, and I thought I had a free sub to Fraps somewhere around here that came with my Graphics cards or CPU or something, but can't find it. So, don't want to shell out the $35 for it (at least not right now).
Got any suggestions? I would prefer no time limits and recording in HD (1920 x 1080). Possibly record my mic at the same time.

Re: Game Recording Software
The latest beta has audio recording, but only one input I believe. Try MJPG compression instead of uncompressed, unless you need outstanding video quality. You could also try recording at say 720p (less processing/smaller files), and upconverting...lol.
However, the MJPG compression can lead to files that are frustrating to try and modify in my brief experience with it.Last edited by ElFuriosoGato; 02-29-12 at 11:52 PM.
