GTX 570 SLI vs GTX 680

So I currently run the 570's in SLI and I'm thinking about going with one GTX 680. My reasons are twofold.

    1. More CUDA cores b/c I use Premiere Pro sometimes.

    2. More energy efficient. My electricity bill is huge.

The 680 goes for 499 euros and I'll prolly get 400-450 euros for the two 570's on ebay.

    Thoughts?

My opinion: wait for the second wave of 600 series cards to hit. The 680 uses a budget chip designation (silicon designation), which means nvidia did not put out the fastest version of kepler as the 680.... they are holding back.

If you are concerned about your power bill undo any overclocking you have done, and see if you can infact under-volt any of your parts and have them still run at stock speeds. Its like the reverse of over-clocking...

Yup the "just released" 680 is "watered down" they used a lower end chip in it to make it just faster than ATI. ATI will in turn release a newer card and all the sudden the 680 will have a faster chip in it.......I would hold off on the 680 until the second generation.

If you wait too long, you wont get much out of selling your 570s.
