New Mouse
So cooler master appears to have entered the mouse makin business...
Saw one of these and picked it up on a whim. Sentinel Z3ro-G.
I've seen a few little glitches with it so far. Mostly having to do with lighting and not saving profile data correctly. But it's easily rectified by resetting the mouse and reloading the profile data (you can save it to a file on your computer as well as to the mouse). And I've never putting the lighting into "breathing" mode again. Once I did it wouldn't shut off breathing. So I had to reset it again.
Also, the sliders on the control panel only go up to 800dpi though I've seen screenshots of the software showing 5600. But you can enter whatever number you want. The sliders just dont show it.
Overall I like it. Seems good in game where. I didn't realize that my logitech performance mx wasn't as good as this one until using this one. However the performance mx feels like a better product.

And it doubles as a night light!

Re: New Mouse
This thing is ridiculously picky about what surface it wants to use. The fellowes pad I had was useless... The desk itself is acceptable MOST of the time. I am going to try buying another mouse pad and see if it likes that. If not it's going to get stuck on a shelf somewhere to collect dust and I might go get me a naga.

Re: New Mouse
Ok... I just haven't gotten comfortable with this thing. Sticking it on a shelf. Picked up a Logitech G700 instead. We'll see how that turns out.

If you are still looking for a mousepad, I can still recommend Artisan. They have shown up to the last two QuakeCons. If you have a high dpi mouse (3000+), I would suggest getting a medium or harder pad. Their pads are cloth, but high quality. My two year old prototype pad I use at work hasn't frayed or anything. I use one of their official pads at home and have literally no complaints.
