Thread: Can someone explain this to me?

I was looking for a game on Steam to get that I could pause since work of late is keeping me from multiplayer games (let's just say right now that I hate the fact most of the DJs at the station don't know how to safely browse and somehow managed to get a bajillion keyloggers and worms on our computers...had to registry dive on some of them...gayzors). Then, I remembered I got the last Chronicles of Riddick game that came out, which also included the previous game with it.

It's an OpenCl game instead of DirectX. I was going through settings. I turned up AA to max. OK, that worked fine. I turned on Ambient Occlusion...even on low it forced AA to 0. Apparently, I can't have both, which sucks.

Not really understanding that. Going to see if I can force AA via Catalyst or something.

Didn't even know OpenCL could DO Ambient Occlusion........or anti aliasing, for that matter.

Yeah, forcing it worked, but then I started playing...it sucks. Decided to use my rig to play Scarygirl.
