04-16-12, 01:16 AM #2You should play Crysis 2 with DX11 patch and high res texture pack. It is one of the best looking games I have ever seen. I had it up and running at Quakecon last year and tons of people stopped by and kept asking what the hell I was playing.

Ha! I set my Batman Arkham Asylum to DirectX 11 Tesselation and all that and it was literally unplayable with a single GTX 680.
I also has FXAA on. I tried all sorts of combinations but nothing made any difference in the stutter/slowdown until I turned off dx11 Tesselation an FXAA both

Re: I was just going to get 2x680s for simulations and folding but...
Crysis 2 was tons of fun, but they really screwed up the multiplayer.... not only did my registry key get 'stolen' by myself on the launch day, but any type of support for accounts on the multiplayer end is non-existant.
But, crysis is such a good single player game, and has amazing graphics that I could care less.....
#3 sounds like its going to blend the tech from the first with the tech from the second.... I can't imagine thats as difficult as creating a brand new tech for a new environment.... so I expect lots and lots of polish.-- Intentionally Left Blank --
