05-12-12, 11:38 AM #31I own the U2711, and it is simply amazing. The higher res makes games look graphically stunning, but require a lot of graphics card power.
I use 2 x GTX 570s, overclocked and water cooled, and I still cant run ALL games on highest detail, AA/AF, but most I can. When I am not gaming, I enjoy, the desktop size and picture quality. It is a wonderful monitor, but requires deep pockets to get the best out of it.

I was honestly considering getting a larger monitor than 24", but then I started using mine. It was big enough for me. (That's what she said.) It was the reason I went AMD since AMD was supposed to perform better at higher resolutions. I found that I preferred a second monitor for additional screen space. I'm currently using a 24" IPS Asus as my main.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

I've been using the zr30, but I use it for more than just gaming. Awesome monitor for the price.

Re: Looking at Monitors
So it looks as though I'm going with this monitor: Amazon.com: Asus PA238Q 23-Inch LED Monitor: Electronics
Reason being, I can order it from within Japan (as Asus has a branch here) and it saves a ton on shipping. As Petrichor said, it's basically the same as the Dell U2312HM model, which I was trying to find and order, but after shipping, I always ended up around 350 dollars. The Asus one sets me back around 300 dollars and I get it in 2 days, so onward, I say!
