I meant what I said, high end hardware definitely is a need and not a want ..... lol

I just realized how much you could fold with 2 of those...

Ordered my GTX 690 today. EVGA had them in stock for a matter of minutes. Only 5 minutes, actually, and then they were out of stock again. I had to spend $50 on the "Signature" edition, which means I get a free shirt and mousepad.

So I made the plunge... now I have to wait a few weeks for EK to release their water block. Either way, she will be ready for Quakecon.

GTX 690 arrives tomorrow. I have already pulled out my other GPUs, removed the water blocks, cleaned them up, and they are ready for eBay.

Tomorrow will be a day that will live in infamy. Heavy gets his paws on a 690!

The only problem I have with the 690 is that it's cooling system does not come in black. It's a lot of shiny.
