Need a file converter.
So, I do a lot of video editing. So far, I don't work with my own video much, seeing as I only recently got a computer that can handle recording in game video. Mostly, I go to certain sites (Non-Torrent, non-pirate, etc) and download videos from them to work with. Doing this helps me get to know my editor, so I do it a lot.
Recently, though, I've gotten some video in the .mp4 format. My video editor does not recognize this format, so therefore, I need to convert them. What I'm looking for is a safe, reliable program that will allow me to convert these videos into .wmv. And, seeing as I don't trust google or other similar search sites for programs that do this as far as I can throw them, I was hoping a fellow TPG member might be able to direct me to one that they've used before. I'm hoping for a free program, but I wouldn't mind paying a little for one if it works well.

Re: Need a file converter.
I've used HandBrake before.
HandBrake Video Transcoder | Download Hand Brake Free
I use it in Linux. There are Windows and Mac version. I don't know if it will handle .wmv
