I work for a place that refurb's computers. I've had some almost that bad, and dust bunnies the size of a mouse. (not a computer mouse)

using an air compressor to blow out your PC is not a wise idea. Well unless the air compressor also has a humidity removing device which very few do. "Oh lets push moisture laden air across our electronics, what could it hurt?" Of course that particular system doesn't seen salvageable anyway based on the Haboob it unleashed. Yes I said Haboob!

There is moisture in most air. Have you ever been to Florida?

Condensation doesn't build on warm items. You only see it when a surface is colder then the air around it. That being said i use my compressor to blow my computer out and have never had a problem. I think the key is opening the drain valve once in a while.

Was thinking the same thing Death... That is exactly what I do before blowing out my rig. but I normally don't have all that much dust in my pc.
Shame on you Andy for letting your pc get that dusty...lol I'm sure that was in your early years pre PC gaming.
Another thing that i will say helps is not keeping your pc on the floor but on a table or even your desk to keep the dust down.
