Spare parts for threk?
In November I built a computer to continue playing with my tpg family. Medical bills and nursing school took a bigger chunk than expected and I was forced to sell the one I built. Well first year of nursing I passed and everything is settled. Even have a hospital to help pay.
Not sure if anyone has any spare parts, old parts, etc. They are Willing to part with, but I would greatly enjoy being able to return to gaming with all many of you and the tpg family.

I have a completed computer sitting in my store room. It's a bit antiquated, having a Core 2 Duo E6600, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, at least a 500GB hard drive, a GTX 260, and probably a 500w power supply with 2 PCI-E connectors. Obviously, you won't be able to upgrade to any of the i-series of processors with that board. However, it comes with the case and everything.
It's the best I can do right now. Let me know if you're interested."In matters of style, swim with the currents... in matters of principle, stand like a rock."

By "willing to part with", are you looking for donations, or are you going to pay something for them? I have a Core i5-760 laying around, but no board for it. I will likely be putting it on eBay as I decided my next project is a Windows 98 based system so I can play all of my old classic games.
I am about to be in hard drive heaven as I just purchased 3 x 2 TB drives for my HTPC. I might be able to sling you a 320 TB as I will have no use for it any longer.

Take allane up on that old computer. The optical drive, hard drive, case and power supply go a long way to making a new system if you are looking for something more powerful. And the 260 might be old, but it's not bad. As it sits it should be able to play most everything TPG hosts. Possibly even BF3 on low settings.
