Need new headset . . .

I just broke my #$@#$ headset by picking it up and pulling the sides to put it on my head. The headset that just broke is a logitech G35, so now I am in the market for a new pair of headset. Gonna stay away from Plantronics and Logitech, had the Plantronics 777 that lasted about 2 years or so and pretty much the same for Logitech G35. Need a headset that will be good for listening to music and for gaming (listening to footsetps in CS and all). So anyone got some recommendation.

I have had gaming headsets and they aren't really that well made... just very cheap. I recommend sennheiser headsets. I specifically have the 555's model but there's probably better sennheiser ones out there now. I got mine a long time ago but it still rocking nicely.

What a coincidence I too had a pair of 777's then i bought a pair of g35's, luckily they are still in good shape. But before I can recommend anything, what is your budget?

I'll prob spend maybe around 150 or so, nothing too crazy. Was looking at some turtle and sennheiser right now.

I can't speak to how long it will last, but I fucking love this headset. I used to always be a speakers/desktop mic man and then I started using this on a regular basis (BF3 only works when I use a headset for some reason, else it freezes my desktop) and it has been amazing.

First I have heard of G35s breaking like that. Mine are still just as they were when I bought them. Sorry to hear they broke as I recommend them over any other headset for gaming.

Corsair HS-1A
AKG GHS 1
Creative Sounblaster Tactic 3D Alpha
Roccat Kave and i liked this one the most!
It is not too expensive and the sound is just amazing, if i brake the new G35 in the near future i am gonna get the Roccat again
