Windows 8
Well, Windows 8 is officially on MSDN and set to be released in October. Who plans to upgrade?!
I personally welcome our new Windows overlords.

Re: Windows 8
There's an 8 instead of a 7, which is higher than 7.
The new task manager is badass.
Thats' about all. I don't actually plan to upgrade anytime soon. lol

Re: Windows 8
I've had the beta upgrade for some time now, and I gotta say I like it. Granted this comes from a windows phone 7 user who likes the "Metro" style UI.
The new start menu is really cool looking and all the "apps" for it look neat. The new search is easy to use and actually helps a lot. I now exclusively use the start menu News instead of going online and looking at sites.
Aside from that, not much is different unless there's something under the hood that I just haven't noticed yet.
My biggest concern is that the beta right now works to much like a tablet. Not like a PC. So some of the things are odd to do, but I'm sure that'll be fixed.
I have heard that the upgrade isn't gunna be 100$ this time around, but instead only cost about $30. That to me is a steal, especially since I've yet to find any major issues. Steam, Games, Skype, ts3, vent, etc. all installed and ran well. I've not had any compatibility issues with any program or game, which is great considering it's still Beta. If the price point is correct, I'll most likely upgrade to the full Win8 at some point.
