Nvidia 660, 670 and help!
So I am looking at a new gpu to update my older 5870. I'm liking at the 670 with envious eyes... well it be an upgrade from my current card? Is the 660 worth it instead? Why are there so many options when I search the 670 on newegg.ca? Can I haz halpburger?

I upgraded from 6870 to evga670. It was like the in-game air became less dense allowing me to move and react faster. I'd get an evga - most of the different ones vary in the amount ram.
EVGA also has a neat oc/fan control/monitoring program called Precision x that down or up clocks your card as needed. It's like MSI afterburner but the interface is much slicker.Last edited by MajorBrass; 09-04-12 at 08:58 AM.

EVGA is great. I have had 7 EVGA cards starting back with the GTX 460s. They make a great product and most carry a great warranty (just make sure you register the product if you didn't buy the card directly from EVGA).
MSI is also a great company, as well as is ASUS, and even Galaxy. I have a friend that has a Galaxy GTX 670, and it is a really good card. Hell, most of these cards are made in the same factory, unless there is something special with the design.
As for which one to get, the 660ti is a great card, and a great value for the price point, but so is the 670. I think they are both priced pretty well for the level of performance you receive.

I have this one and love it. -> Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GV-N670OC-2GD GeForce GTX 670 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Came factory overclocked and runs just a little under a stock 680. The 3 fan cooling system is super quiet and imo the best there is for this card.

So the difference between 670s is strictly ram and warranty? Go-to newegg.ca and search 670 and it'll give you over 10 options all varying in price.. I'm confused as the comparisons reveal nothing really different other than ram.... but the process vary?
