Thread: New slightly different PC build

A few of you that talk to me know what I've been working on but thought I'd make a post about it. I had seen one of these done awhile back and have wanted one since then. Pretty basic setup, I found the coolest PSU I've ever seen and am so glad I found it. The other option was to get a larger frame to use a larger boarder to house a full PSU. What you see plugged in to the board is the entire PSU, it plugs in to a small laptop style brick. The board is an intel with Atom D525 cpu? 4 GB ram (claims it's max so I haven't tried 8 yet), 500 GB hybrid drive, added a wireless card/antenna for intarwebz. It's got win 7 64 bit on it, still trying to decide what to use it for. I could use it to push my playon media server once I get temps cooler. I have one fan connected currently (tiny 40x20 scythe minikaze pulling air out), I have another (planning on pushing air in with it) but need a splitter to connect it. It's not quite cooling it enough yet. I am also working on cutting the holes for fan to flush mount them within the case. My first trial mockup showed it was TOO clean and neat to look cool so I went with the blacklights and UV sleeving. It's still in progress but wanted to share it with you all. Hope you like it.

so its coming together. it looks pretty cool man i might have to do something like that myself :P. where did you get the case?

It's done for the most part except for the tweaking I do. The "case" is a 12x15 shadow box.
