monitor buying help
ok I this is probably be on here more times than anyone can count so forgive me but i thought making my own thread would help best serve my specific requests. so i just bought the Acer 120 hz monitor (Newegg.com - Acer GD235HZbid Black / Orange 23.6" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen 1080p NVIDIA LCD 120Hz 3D Monitor 300 cd/m2 ACM 80000:1) but i am not happy with it. I have deduced that it is not a quality product and the only reason i got this was because it was on the cheap. so i am willing to spend at least $100 bucks more than what i got this for (which was $250). I want to know in that price range what is the best 120 hz monitor or for that matter just plain best monitor i can get in that price range. i tried to look into it myself but i dont understand some of the finer details to well and i figure you guys could help me out.

Personally I'd take an IPS monitor over a 120 Hz monitor. Dell's IPS monitors are all well reviewed/received. Depending on what size you want there's the U2412 or the U2711. The U2711 is significantly more expensive.

I love my U2711 IPS. Paid a lot for it, but it was worth every penny.
