    Pimp's PC Problems

My computer is acting up yet again. It powers up fine, but I don't get any picture on my monitor, except a "VGA no connection" message.

    A few things:

Switching video card, monitor, and monitor cables didn't fix it
I don't have an onboard video card

Could be something wrong with the PCI-E slot on the MB, but I'm not a troubleshooting wizard. Thoughts?

does the video card from your system work in another? if not its dead.
if it does work then it something else.

Swap parts 1 at a time until you find the culprit.

Can you boot into safe mode or bios with image? if so its a driver update issue, roll your video driver back or uninstall it all together.

sorry as far at PCI-E on your MB, check your MB vendor and download their MB diagnostic disk and boot off it (of course you need an image for this ) and run the diagnostics. Without a picture you are dead in the water for hardware diagnostics since you have no onboard video.
