Web hosting

bluehost is fine if nothing goes wrong, but their disaster recovery/backup leaves much to be desired. One of their web boxes got hacked and they trashed my site... I put in a ticket to have it restored... and they said "The hackers trashed the backup as well". Their backup solution was to mount a different file system, copy everything, then unmount it. The hackers found the unmounted file system and trashed it too.

mmeh i dont know. i honestly only use my domain for email at the moment. might use that free google hosting that was mentioned just to mess around with code a bit.

i have no actual need for a website and am not involved in such decisions at work.

maybe i didnt miss it. maybe i chose to pretend that the joke wasnt made because it was really bad and failed and i didnt want to point out how bad you are at comedy....
