    Problem in cs:go with mic (sometimes)

    So I have had this problem (anyone who plays go with me knows) that my mic likes to randomly make me sound robotic, not always sometimes. It happens with no matter what mic I use, weird thing is that in all my other steam games like L4D2 my mic always works fine. Just wondering if any of you have had this problem or know any possible solutions.

    Have you tried the old mic test trick from source? Just go to options, audio, mic and click mic test....stop it. See if your sound is normal after that. Alot of the game code is pretty similar...wouldn't surprise me if it works.

    Yeah i mean the mic still works I'm sure its just annoying to hear me like that haha.

    Sometimes sounds like a creepy voice changer and makes me lol What sound card or onboard sound are you using?
