ram
thinkin of buying a bit more ram when i buy the v card but i dunno if everything has to match up or not
what i hav now is
DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Timing 7-9-7-24
Cas Latency 7
Voltage 1.65V
DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Timing 9-9-9-24
Cas Latency 9
Voltage 1.5V
they are both Mushkin Enhanced Blackline but i dunno if the timing and voltage will throw things off i got 4 gigs in this machine now so dunno if i really need more the one i'm lookin at is a 4g stick for 21$ seems like a good deal

Re: ram
We'll assume your motherboard is dual channel. So you want to get two sticks. Not one.
So if you have 4 gig now with 2 sticks you want to get two more 2 gig sticks. Or just replace the two you have now with two MATCHED 4 gig sticks (any 2x4 8GB kit).
