Just installed the HT-Omega eClaro audio card in my rig today and I must say I am thoroughly impressed! I've been going back and forth between integrated audio and an x-fi fatality card for the past few years and after being utterly fed up with some of the driver issues I was having with the creative card, I decided to spend a bit more and get something a little bit better.

Anyone else here have any experience with HT-Omega cards? I hear ASUS has some stellar cards in their Xonar line; but I ended up going with the eClaro. Anyone here know how they stack up against each-other?

Re: ZOMGZORRO HT-Omega Audio
I had a Creative AUdigy 4 Pro, after all the driver issues I gave it to my little brother.
I have/had a Xonar D2, after I upgraded my speakers/subwoofer I had to remove it for a number of reasons:
1. my speakers could now play the frequency that the power inside my computer was switching at inside the power supply (super high frequency noise)
2. it did not allow me to playback blurays with DTS-HD Master Audio decoding due to it not being HDCP enabled......
So I then switched to using the second DVI port on my Geforce to output HDMI Audio to my reciever (Onkyo tx-809nr) and I have never looked back. The receiver just blows everything out of the water, and the geforce card can do 7.1 surround @ 24bit 192khz if I wanted. Only downside to this is, I have to have a second display configured to output that audio to the reciever. (I run DVI to my monitor)
With all that said I would have gotten a better sound card if it let me decode bluray audio........ I hear the Claro's are really good!!!-- Intentionally Left Blank --
