    Mouse opinions(yes, another one)

So, looking at buying a new mouse here in a couple of weeks. Mostly trying to get an idea of some decent palm grip mice. Preferably perfect sensor, but that's easy enough for me to research...not seeing much other than a DA and g400 for palm grip mice(I want more than 2 buttons so DA is out). I had an MX518 up until about 6 months ago and loved it...lasted almost 6 years. Currently using my wifes old Diamondback, and I really hate it. Don't really have big hands but this thing just feels dinky and cheap. Anyone have some suggestions?

I love the G500. Fits my hand pretty well. Probably the best mouse I have ever had, and I have had quite a few. 3 thumb buttons that are very well placed and has the free spin/click switch that I love.

I have used a Razer Mamba since they first came out. I use a combo grip and it is great for both palm and claw. Their support has been great for me too. My Mamba is pretty old. I got it to replace an MX700 that had quit charging. So it's pretty old. Anyway, several years in, the battery went bad on my Mamba and when I tried to buy one from them, they replaced it under warranty despite it being well past the warranty period. Sadly, the post office banned shipping batteries overseas at the same time so my battery never got here. But it still works great as a wired mouse. As always, your mileage may vary

Don't laugh, but I just switched back from my Razer Lachesis to the Razer Copperhead. The reason being is the Copperhead has MUCH less drag. For whatever reason, the Lachesis likes to hang on to the surface when you first go to move the mouse, making precision movements more difficult. I have ordered some replacement feet (or whatever you call them) to see if things improve because I actually prefer the button layout to the Lachesis over the Copperhead, and the wheel seems to be a bit less clunky and more precise.

In the short term, I purchased a used Copperhead (green) to match my new green Razer keyboard that should be here next week. After years of a blue theme, I am finally turning green!

Just switched to a Logitech G9X from the Razer Lachesis and I have to say so far I love it. Virtually no drag and the 7g weights make it much more controllable.

Were you experiencing the drag too? I guess over the years I got used to it, but going backwards to the Copperhead was like night and day.

My Mamba drags sometimes. Blowing out dust from the sensor eye with some canned air fixes it every time.
