Looking to get it for VS2012, but I'm unsure on what license I should get. I'm also unsure on what would constitute a document showing proof that I'm attending my school if I go the academic license route.

I would try the demo of JustCode as well, since you're into that stuff. I pretty much only use resharper to enforce code cleanliness on myself for large projects. I rarely use the other features. As for Just Code, it's pretty much the same thing, but the same company also makes like 10 other projects. Just Decompile is a useful one - although I prefer reflector as it integrates with visual studio, and if you have the debug symbols (or symbol sever turned on) then you can also step into the dot net fw.
